Melbourne x 60

Greetings from an ever-sunny Perth. Although we are days into winter, the temperature on the west coast currently sits around a perfect 24 degrees celsius. After 5 years of Japanese winter this is kinda ridiculous, but I'm not complaining.

Last weekend, I left the west for four days in Melbourne to celebrate my Mama's 60th birthday. We haven't taken a trip together for years, so it was very special.

Highlights included tea and delectable cakes at the Hopetoun Tearooms in the Block Arcade, dumplings in the CBD, catching the circle tram to the beautiful Carlton Gardens, walking Fitroy's cafe and shop-lined streets (Gertrude, Smith, and Brunswick), panoramic night views from the Eureka Sky Deck, hanging out with my dearest friend Izzy at the Camberwell Markets, then road-tripping to Tyabb to rummage through epic vintage warehouses, more dumplings (!!), and finally a trip to the Dandenongs.

It was such a whirlwind, but so much fun. Please enjoy some of the snaps I snapped.

Thanks for reading ありがとう!
