Osaka Diaries 2016 - Part 3: Rain in Nakazakicho

On a very rainy Thursday we explored Nakazakicho before our flight home. The sweet obaachan at a cafe we ate at told us that the neighbourhood survived WWII air raids with little damage, which is why there are still so many beautiful old Japanese houses intact and in use today. Nowadays, many of those old houses have been converted into cafes, vintage shops, hair salons and zakka stores. It was definitely my favourite spot in Osaka this trip and I was so happy to visit someplace quiet and new. I found the morning's explorations full of inspiration (which I brought back with me to Fukuoka).

Until next time.
