Just got back from two crazy days in Aso. We climbed Takadake (the highest peak in Aso, which is the largest active volcano in Japan) and Nakadake. Quite a personal achievement, as it was the first real mountain I've climbed. Thanks to Momoyo & Motoki for coming with us, and to Motoki and Kamil for the following pictures.
Kam and I camped overnight in Aso and did a little sightseeing the next morning before heading home via the special train "Aso Boy".
